About Us

Navajo Lutheran Outreach is housed at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Navajo, NM. It is funded by donations from faithful people all around the U.S.  Donations are received at

Grace Lutheran Church in Albuquerque, NM (https://gracelutheran-nm.org/).

  The mission was begun in 1969 by The Rocky Mountain District of the LCMS.  Many Pastors, Directors of Christian Education, and Deaconesses have served here in the 50+ years of its tenure.  In 2013 Pastor Tim Norton (who at that time was a D.C.E.) answered the Lord’s call to serve God’s people and replant the church (there was only one family connected to S.O.T.V. at the time). By God’s grace there are presently 36 baptized members of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church.
